The MyWorkspace team is pleased to introduce a new feature that makes it possible to connect applications to a service provider using the OAuth2.
Connect to a service provider using OAuth2 authentication
To introduce the above-mentioned feature a new version of the GotoMeeting application is available as of now.
MyWorkspace administrative users are able to connect their GotoMeeting account using OAuth2 authentication. After the GotoMeeting account is connected to MyWorkspace, authenticated requests in behalf of the administrative user are possible.
In the context of GotoMeeting this enables MyWorkspace to request all GotoMeeting licenses available for the account connected to MyWorkspace. This enhances the automatic account provisioning dramatically.
Click the ‘connect’ button, authenticate against GotoMeeting, select the licenses you want to assign during the account provisioning and save the application. Nothing more easy than that!
With the new provisioning workflows attached to GotoMeeting, administrators are able to create new users in GotoMeeting, delete existing users or update existing user licenses. Of course the new ‘connect to service provider’ feature is not restricted to just GotoMeeting. New application versions will be available in the future.
