Matrician Interview with Ufuk – Account Manager at Matrix42

Ufuk Bild - croppedWe spoke to Ufuk Demirel, our Account Manager within Sales Germany about his life at Matrix42. He gave us insights into his day-to-day as well as career development.

Ufuk, what do you enjoy most about working at Matrix42?

I can organize my working hours freely. The key is not the path to the result, but the result itself. This gives me the freedom to work creatively without being forced into fixed structures.

Let’s talk about the leadership stye, how would you describe it here?

Trust-based. Not every step is controlled, and you are given room to make decisions - but also support when you need it.

Regarding Work-Life Balance, how are you being supported here at Matrix42?

I truly appreciate the high level of trust I’m given when it comes to organizing my working hours. Instead of being micromanaged, I’m empowered to focus fully on delivering results – and that freedom allows me to work in a way that’s both efficient and creative.

What achievements are you most proud of?

What I remember most are the conversations where customers say they were genuinely looking forward to speaking with me. Moments like these mean a lot – they’re the kind of experiences that stay with you for years.

Do you have any advice for future employees, like what should they know before joining?

Be yourself. What counts here is not the perfect facade, but genuine motivation and personal responsibility.

Any additional insight would you give to someone considering to work at Matrix42?

With us, every employee has the power to take responsibility and play their part to shape the future of our company. You need a strong team to build something great, therefore collaboration is important. We can always rely on each other!

How would you describe a typical day in your role?

There is no typical day - and that's exactly what I love. Sometimes I am deep in concepts, sometimes in customer meetings or supporting colleagues. Not two days are the same, but every day brings something new.
It’s incredibly motivating to know that I am able to help shape things here. I have the feeling that my work has a real impact on customers, colleagues and of course Matrix42 itself.

What have you learned at Matrix42 that you couldn't do before?

Communicate more clearly. I have learned to formulate my ideas in such a way that they are understood - and at the same time to leave room for other perspectives.

If Matrix42 were a festival - what would the motto be?

“Do it your way - but together.” Everyone brings their own style, but in the end a good whole emerges.

Thank you Ufuk, for sharing your story!
