This was the scene at Matrix42’s 2025 Kick-Off event, held at the stunning Zoogesellschaftshaus—just footsteps from the Frankfurt Zoo. The three-day event brought together teams from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Romania, Ukraine, and beyond.
It wasn’t just an ordinary company meeting; it was an extraordinary occasion to reflect on past achievements and align on our bold vision for the future. We also unveiled our company values that are set to shape Matrix42's culture, operations, and guide us as we are building the European Choice in service management.
"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity," said CEO Niilo Fredrikson about being part of the new Matrix42, highlighting that we are “competing at the highest possible level”. How Niilo knew he made the right decision? When he had dinner with his family at an Asian restaurant, and his fortune cookie read, "You have chosen the right direction."

At the heart of the kick-off was aligning on the Matrix42's vision for 2025. Positioned as “The European Choice in service management”, the company is doubling down on its commitment to delivering innovative solutions for seamlessly managing IT services, workplaces, and enterprise resources – striving for even higher customer satisfaction.
During the event’s keynotes, senior leadership discussed the evolving service management landscape and the opportunities that lie ahead. Backed by in-depth market analysis and strategic planning, Matrix42 outlined steps to position itself competitively in a rapidly digitizing world. The strategy focuses on customer-centric technology, process automation, AI-integration and simplifying service management for businesses of all sizes.

Highlights from the Kickoff Event
Building connections and celebrating achievements were an important part of coming together as one team for the first time after joining forces with the nordic SaaS company efecte. Held across incredible venues in Frankfurt, it was a memorable experience for all attendees.
Day 1: We kicked things off with an inspiring keynote from CEO Niilo Fredrikson at the Zoo Gesellschaftshaus. The afternoon contained valuable insights from four of our partners, who shared what their customers encounter when it comes to digitalizing and automating their work, and how we can provide the appropriate solutions to serve these needs.
In the evening, we celebrated at the dazzling People Awards Gala hosted at the Scandic Hafenpark Hotel, honoring individuals who went above and beyond in 2024. Honorees were recognized for their innovation, dedication, and contributions to the company’s success.

Day 2: The day started with engaging keynotes from the finance and people and culture departments, who shared exciting updates for all employees. Everyone also had the chance to explore our IT solutions at the "demo bazaar," where product managers showcased Matrix42 in action from AI to FastViewer, and more. With over 500 Matricians gathered in one place for the first time ever, we seized the opportunity to capture stunning photos both indoors and outdoors, including aerial shots using a drone. In the afternoon, we had the privilege of hosting one of our valued customers on stage to share their experiences with Matrix42 solutions. They explained how our tools have helped their company streamline workflows through digitalization and automation. Additionally, they offered a candid perspective on the ongoing challenges they face in their digital transformation journey, providing insightful and valuable takeaways for our team. The day was concluded with a party at the Fortuna Irgendwo club in Frankfurt. Colleagues had the chance to party, connect, and dance.
Day 3: The final day took a collaborative turn, featuring breakout sessions at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel. Teams gathered in smaller, cross-functional groups to brainstorm ideas, share insights, and discuss innovative approaches for the year ahead. Our CEO, Niilo Fredrikson, delivered inspiring final words, highlighting key moments of the kickoff and setting an exciting tone for the opportunities and goals awaiting us in 2025.
